Order Minimums
Wholesale Club comes with some built in minimums settings, allowing you to set a minimum order quantity or cart value a customer must meet before placing an order. You can also vary the requirements per customer group!
We cover those specifics in an article here
Advanced Minimums
If you need more control, our Advanced Minimums feature allows you to select between targeting collection minimums, product minimums, or variant minimums! Here are some examples:
- By selecting Collections, the amount you set will require your customer to reach that total of items from the collection. For example, 6 towels and 6 pillowcases from the Bed and Bath Collection to hit the required 12
- By selecting Products, the amount you set will require your customer to reach that total of each product within that collection. For example, 12 towels from the Bed and Bath Collection to hit the required 12
- By selecting Variants, the amount you set will require your customer to reach that total of each variant within a product within the collection. For example, 12 blue towels from the Bed and Bath Collection to hit the required 12
We have an article to walk through the setup!
Storefront testing
Logging in as a Silver customer will require a minimum cart total (before discounts) of $500 which is set by the standard order minimum functionality. So any products will count towards this minimum. If the minimum is not hit, a message will show on the Cart page and the discount will not yet apply.
Logging in as a Gold customer, if you add anything from the Bed and Bath collection, you will need to add 12 of each product, with a mix of variants if you’d like! If this target is not met a message will show in the cart, the discount won’t apply, and the checkout button will be hidden.
This feature is included in our trial of Wholesale Club so you can test it out!
